However, Modus Vivendi Publishing cannot be held liable to meet posted delivery times.

If an item that has been ordered is no longer available, the customer will receive a notice by phone or email.

3. Price

Prices that are posted on the www.groupemodus.com website are in Canadian dollars for customers within North America (Canada and United States) and in Euros for customers within Europe, and do not include taxes or delivery charges. Books are sold in accordance with the Act respecting the development of Québec firms in the book industry. The price is payable in full in one payment at the time of the order. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars or Euros. For delivery outside of Canada, all customs, duties, and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

4. Delivery charges

Delivery charges include preparation and packaging fees, along with postage. They are determined based on the delivery address, the number of items ordered, and the total value of the order before taxes and delivery charges. Customers cannot combine orders in order to benefit from a reduction in delivery charges under any circumstances.

5. Payment

Orders that are placed via the www.groupemodus.com website or by telephone must be paid for by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards.

6. Delivery

A period of two days must be allowed for processing products that are in stock at our offices, and an average of one to three days must be allowed for a delivery inside Quebec. Les Publications Modus Vivendi Inc. cannot be held liable for a delay in delivery resulting from a shortage of stock or caused by the carrier under any circumstances.

7. Product returns

Items that are sold by Les Publications Modus Vivendi Inc. are new and guaranteed to be without defect. If an item is found to be defective, or does not correspond to what was ordered, we commit to exchange or refund it, including delivery charges, within 10 days following the delivery date, on the condition that it is accompanied by the delivery notice or a copy of the Groupemodus.com invoice.

A customer who would like to return a product that was purchased on Groupemodus.com for another reason may choose between an exchange or a refund. The return must take place within 10 days following delivery. However, in the event that the product would not present any defect, the return would be subject to an administration fee of 10%, and delivery fees are not refundable. If the client received free shipping, administration costs would then reach 20% of the sale price of the returned item.

8. Security

We guarantee the security of all transactions carried out through our website. All information that is submitted is encrypted, and cannot be read during the transfer of data to your financial institution. Therefore, you can enter your name, full address, and credit card number in complete security.

Thanks to our secure Stripe and PayPal payment solution, all transactions carried out through the Groupemodus.com website are secure.

Encryption

Encryption is a technique that is designed to ensure the security of transactions carried out through a public payment system, such as those made through the Internet. The purpose of encryption is to scramble the information in such a way that the original message cannot be deciphered in whole or in part.

Encryption “locks” access to the information, and the intended recipient of the message is the only one who holds the key that is required to unlock it.

Security Protocols

Security comprises the two following components, among others: encryption and the integrity of the data being sent. We ensure that the information that is processed is the same information that was originally sent. This solution operates using reliable protocols in order to comply with a high level of integrality.

Modus Vivendi Publishing is committed to protecting your personal information and your privacy. We only use the information that you submit to fulfill your orders.

When you place your order, we need to know your name, your email address, the shipping address, and your credit card number and expiry date. With this information, we are able to process and track your orders.

Modus Vivendi Publishing does not sell, market, or lease your information to third parties.

Don’t worry! All personal information that you send through the Groupemodus.com website is completely secure.
